'Stoke got well and truly outplayed second half as Thurrock used the wind to their advantage after a first half that saw 'stoke fail to capatalise on some poor Thurrock defending.

'Stoke dominated the first twenty minutes and should have been at least one up after Downes failed to finish two good chance and had a shout for handball turned down by the referee.
