Basingstoke travel to Worcestershire tonight to take on bottom side Worcester City.
In contrast to 'Stoke's 100% start to the season,
Worcester have failed to register a point yet, going down to Bromley, St. Albans and Woking. In fact, they have only won one league game at home in
2009, against Thurrock at the end of last season. A draw could see Basingstoke go top of the league tonight, depending on how Dover do at Chelmsford,
for one day at least.
The two meetings between the sides last season both ended in goalless draws, whilst the epic FA Cup tie in 2006 had to be
decided by sudden death penalties, so history would point to a close encounter tonight.
Town go into tonights game with only Adam Aimable
missing after getting injured during Saturday's win over Chelmsford. Lewis Christon should be at the game after missing his second match of the
season with car troubles on Saturday, although Frank is likely to go with Sean Hankin at the back after he came on for Aimable against Chelmsford
following his own spell out through illness.
The bookies have Basingstoke as favourites for the match at 5/4 with Worcester priced at 9/4. The
draw is available at 13/5.
