Match report
Stoke are now in the hat for the 4th Qualifying round of the FA Cup and now could face any of the Nationwide Conference teams although it is still regionalized.

Town went ahead on 17 minutes after a good spell of pressure on the Ashford goal, and Taylor had a hand in the second goal on 38 minutes when stroud put in one of many good crosses during the match and Roach knocked the ball down to the feet of Roach who put the ball away for his first goal of the season to make it 2-0. The referee pointed to the spot minutes after going 2-0 up and stuart made an excellent saved diving to his right to save the shot and get the rebound clear.

Town should have wrapped it up before half time when Quarm found himself in acres of space with a clear shot at goal he opted to lay in Howell but his control let him down and the defender did enough to block the shot. But on 64 minutes we wrapped the game up after their keeper missed the ball from a corner and Jimmy Taylor put home the loose ball.

A confident display, hopefully we can build on this at Eastbourne next Saturday.
