Pictures from the match
Lewis Cook and David Ray were the stars of the show on Saturday with Cook tormenting their defenders with his mazy runs and Ray scoring 2 excellent goals to secure the 2-0 win.

Town put in their best performance of the season but early on we rode our luck, Bullivant produced a superb save when Rob saved from 10 yards when Sutton looked as though they would take an early lead. For about 20 minutes it was intense pressure but like in the last 2 games our defence looked sharp. Town then against the run of play got a debatable penalty when Gonsalves tangled with Taylor in the area, Taylor missed the spot kick when the keeper guessed the correct way to save the tame spot kick.

Soon after town were ahead after good play down the left by Cook who produces a pinpoint cross to Taylor who knocked down to Ray who found the net from 10 yards beating the keeper at his near post.

The rest of the half both teams cancelled each other out.

Town really started to turn in a confident performance in the 2nd half and doubled the lead on 55 minutes after a poor free kick by Sutton was intercepted and we broke quickly and Lewis got the ball down the left beat his man and when it looked as though the chance had gone produced the ball of the match that David ray dove onto to head home beating the outstretched keeper to make it 2-0.

Sutton and Town had chances get goals Sutton best effort was cleared of the line and Whiddett and Cook had efforts whistle over the bear from close range.

Overall an excellent performance and Ray and Cook seem to working well together as the defenders are concentrating on Cook that is leaving Ray with plenty of room down the right which seems to be getting him goalscoring chances.
