Change:  Move to:
Martin Whiddett
Veteran striker Martin made a somewhat suprising move to Basingstoke in the summer of 2004 having previously had spells with Bashley, Alton Town, Fleet Town and AFC Totton on three seperate occasions.

Martin became an instant fans favourite and complimented goal scoring forwards Neville Roach or Cristian Levis perfectly.

He made 44 appearances during the season, scored 13 goals and was also named as away fans player of the season.

The following season saw Martin troubled by a number of slight injuries and in February 2006, he decided that he could no longer perform at Conference South level and he decided to leave the club and drop down a few divisions.
