Tarps joined Basingstoke in August 2006 after being released as a junior from Crystal Palace. After an impressive first season in the the title winning reserve team squad, he was promoted to the first team squad.
Although primarily a striker, David found himself covering injuries and suspensions in wide midfield in the 2007/08 season and made most of his appearances from here. He scored three goals.
This season has seen David used mainly as a substitute. |
